  • How much space around trampoline

Having a trampoline in your garden is fantastic for hours of jumping fun, but how do you know if your trampoline is placed in a safe spot? One of the most important aspects of safe trampolining is keeping enough space free around and above the trampoline. So, how much space do you actually need? In this blog, we’ll explain it to you!

Space around the trampoline

For a safe setup, it’s essential to keep at least 2 metres (7 ft) of free space between the trampoline and any objects such as trees, fences, walls or garden furniture. This distance reduces the risk of injury or damage if someone accidentally lands next to the trampoline.

Space above the trampoline

Keep in mind that high jumps require enough free height. The recommended free space above the trampoline is at least 7 metres (23 ft), measured from the ground. This prevents dangerous situations where jumpers could hit tree branches, beams or other obstacles above the trampoline when they jump high.

Besides the right setup, it’s important to carefully read the manual and regularly check your trampoline. This way, you ensure the whole family enjoys a safe and long-lasting jumping experience!
