A BERG go-kart undergoes extensive testing before it is released to the market. Internally, we test whether the go-kart is safe to use, ergonomically sound, and meets BERG’s high-quality standards. After that, the go-kart is also thoroughly tested by an external testing agency. This ensures that the go-kart meets all European safety requirements, allowing us to confidently apply the mandatory CE marking. In addition, our smallest go-karts are also TUV GS certified.

All BERG go-karts are made with sustainable and environmentally friendly materials. We know exactly where each part comes from, which materials have been used, and that these materials are non-toxic and non-polluting. This ensures that the product is not harmful to your child and that we do not introduce toxic materials into the environment.

Need to replace a go-kart component? For every component apart from frames, we offer spare parts. When a tire goes flat, the chain snaps or some other part breaks, it can all be fixed through a spare part. This also applies to parts that are damaged or lost. This naturally ensures that a BERG go-kart can be used for an enormously long time, which makes BERG go-karts very durable.

With the BFR (Brake Freewheel Reverse), there is a unique and patented system between the chain and the rear axle, specially developed for our BERG go-karts. This system allows the user to pedal, keep the pedals stationary while riding, use a back pedal brake and pedal in reverse after the go-kart has slowed down. This unique combination of features can only be found on BERG go-karts and is ideal for fast forward and reverse pedaling and braking.
